SIIT student receives the Metrohm-CST Young Chemist Award at the Pure and Applied Chemistry Conference 2024 (PACCON2024)

Panwad Chavalekvirat, a graduate student from the School of Bio-Chemical Engineering and Technology, Sirindhorn International Institute of Technology (SIIT), Thammasat University, being honored as the recipient of the Metrohm-CST Young Chemist Award presented under the esteemed Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Korm Phra Srisavangavadhana. Panwad received a royal plaque at the Pure and Applied Chemistry Conference 2024 (PACCON2024).

Panwad has the unique opportunity to present her work titled “Tuning Surface Energy to Enhance MoS2 Nanosheet Production via Liquid-Phase Exfoliation: Understanding the Electrochemical Adsorption of Cesium Chloride”. This research has gained significant recognition, being published in the well-regarded journal Inorganic Chemistry, and indexed in the prestigious Nature Index. Additionally, the graphical representation of her work was featured as the Front Cover for the journal’s August 14, 2023, issue, Volume 62, Number 32. This outstanding accomplishment underscores the high caliber of Panwad’s work and its impact on engineering and technology.
